Summary
In this post-apocalyptic sci-fi story， humanity has been devastated by the bizarre， giant humanoids known as the Titans。 Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming mankind。

Romanian review: Volumele 10 și 12 sunt cele mai bune de până acum， chiar dacă o parte din impactul emoțional din anime se pierde din cauza lipsei soundtrack-ului （care este pur și simplu genial）。 Cu greu m-am abținut să nu scriu o recenzie separată despre volumul 10 pentru că în acel volum se dezvăluie identitatea titanilor care au distrus Zidul Maria în urmă cu 5 ani， The Armored și The Colossal Titans， dezvăluire care este devastatoare din punct de vedere emoțional pentru că cei doi titani s Romanian review: Volumele 10 și 12 sunt cele mai bune de până acum， chiar dacă o parte din impactul emoțional din anime se pierde din cauza lipsei soundtrack-ului （care este pur și simplu genial）。 Cu greu m-am abținut să nu scriu o recenzie separată despre volumul 10 pentru că în acel volum se dezvăluie identitatea titanilor care au distrus Zidul Maria în urmă cu 5 ani， The Armored și The Colossal Titans， dezvăluire care este devastatoare din punct de vedere emoțional pentru că cei doi titani sunt （view spoiler）[Reiner și Bertholdt （hide spoiler）] personaje de care am ajuns să mă atașez， așa că am putut simți aceeași trădare ca Eren și ceilalți。 Un rezumat al acestei părți din poveste， volumele 9-12 （adaptate în sezonul 2 din anime）， ar fi lupte epice cu titani， nu sunt neapărat mai multe ca în primele opt volume， dar sunt mai distractive și mai interesante， multă emoție， în princiapal tristețe， dar și un moment cathartic， cel mai epic moment din acest arc narativ， mă refer la momentul în care aflăm cu adevărat ce puteri posedă Eren și de ce este atât de important și strategii geniale care îl implică pe Erwin Smith despre care voi scrie mai multe în viitorul apropiat。Din acest punct povestea va deveni din ce în ce mai profundă și mai complexă， iar dezvăluirile importante sunt destul de aproape așa că sunt nerăbdător să citesc mai departe。English review: Volumes 10 and 12 are the best so far， even if some of the emotional impact from the anime is lost due to the lack of the soundtrack （which is simply brilliant）。 I could hardly refrain myself from writing a separate review for volume 10 because that volume reveals the identity of the Titans who destroyed Wall Maria 5 years ago， The Armored and The Colossal Titans， a revelation that is emotionally devastating because the two titans are （view spoiler）[ Reiner and Bertholdt （hide spoiler）] characters I've become attached to， so I could feel the same betrayal as Eren and the others。A summary of this part of the story， volumes 9-12 （adapted in the second season of the anime）， would be epic battles with titans， there are not necessarily more battles than in the first eight volumes， but they are more entertaining and interesting， a lot of emotion， mainly sadness， but also a cathartic moment， the most epic moment in this narrative arc， I mean the moment when we really find out what powers Eren possesses and why he is so important and brilliant strategies involving Erwin Smith about which I will write more in the near future。From this point the story will become deeper and more complex， and the important revelations are quite close so I can't wait to read on。["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]> 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Brief Outline:Ymir is healed and Eren asks her about what they can do to escape。 Reiner trusts Ymir but Bertolt is still cautious。 They talk about going home， but then see a flare meaning the Survey Corps is nearby。 They restrain Eren and Ymir turns into the Jaw Titan to kidnap Historia。 Ymir kidnaps Historia and jumps onto the Armoured Titan's back。 Erwin and a group of soldiers begin to lure Titans to use them later while Armin and Mikasa plan to do anything to save Eren。 Historia and Ymir tal Brief Outline:Ymir is healed and Eren asks her about what they can do to escape。 Reiner trusts Ymir but Bertolt is still cautious。 They talk about going home， but then see a flare meaning the Survey Corps is nearby。 They restrain Eren and Ymir turns into the Jaw Titan to kidnap Historia。 Ymir kidnaps Historia and jumps onto the Armoured Titan's back。 Erwin and a group of soldiers begin to lure Titans to use them later while Armin and Mikasa plan to do anything to save Eren。 Historia and Ymir talk and Historia ends up saying that she will go anywhere with Ymir。 Eren wakes up。 While the others try to rescue Eren by reasoning with Bertolt， Erwin leads a large group of Titans right to them。 Overwhelmed by the amount of Titans， the Survey Corps use this as an opportunity to rescue Eren。 As chaos ensues they manage to rescue Eren however the Armoured Titan starts throwing other Titans at the Corps。 Eren and Mikasa encounter the Titan that killed Eren's mum。 Hannes comes to defend them。 Ymir is now unsure about which side to take。 Hannes is quickly killed by the Titan。 Eren thinks that he's useless and Mikasa tells him that he isn't and how much he means to her。 Angry， Eren punches the Titan causing all the other Titans to attack it。 Eren then turns this power on the Armoured Titan。 Everyone retreats however Ymir decides to save Reiner and Bertolt and says later that she didn't want them to go back home with nothing。Main Characters:Eren Yeager， Mikasa Ackerman， Bertolt Hoover， Reiner Braun， Erwin Smith， Ymir， Historia Reiss， Armin ArlertMy Response:This book was the conclusion that I had been waiting for！ While we thought the main mystery was over， a whole new one got introduced。 I was filled with excitement to learn more about why Reiner， Bertolt and Annie attacked The Walls。 However my excitement was dulled in the shadow of the battle。 It was filled with lots of emotion。 With some of the characters dying or injured it made the novel heavy and once again reinforced the thought that humanity is ultimately useless when fighting the Titans alone。 Overall I loved how this book went。 The only part I didn't like was when Ymir decided to give herself up。 At the moment it makes no sense as I wonder why she left Historia behind for this vague reason to save Bertolt and Reiner。 I hope the strangeness of this decision is explained later otherwise it feels like a poor way of getting rid of a character。 。。。more
